It began as a purely client-side tool: business profile and clients stored in the browser, PDFs rendered locally, nothing sent anywhere. That version still works and still needs no account.
On top of it sits the optional half: accounts, saved clients and invoices, public invoice links, team invites, an API surface, and sibling generators for quotes, estimates, credit notes, purchase orders, receipts and proformas.
Notes from the build
- 01The no-account path was kept intact rather than converted into a trial.
- 02Each document type is its own indexed page, because that is how people search for them.
